01

Employer creates the employee account

Worker accounts are created by their employer on the Fieldbook platform (app.fieldbook.io). Employees do not self-sign up for SMS through a public web form.
02

Employee logs in and is shown an SMS opt-in prompt

After login, when the employee visits Timesheets they may see a modal titled “Get timesheet reminders by text?” The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default. Consent is optional — they can choose “Not now” and still use Fieldbook.
03

Active consent via checkbox

To opt in, the employee must check the consent box (active opt-in) and tap Accept. The disclosure covers message purpose, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, and links to Privacy Policy and Terms. Consent is not a condition of using Fieldbook.
04

Manage or turn off anytime in Settings

Users can turn Weekly timesheet reminders on or off in Settings → Text message reminders. The same SMS disclosure appears under the toggle. Users can also reply STOP to any message to opt out.

Example outbound SMS

Sample messages sent only to users who have opted in:

Fieldbook: Reminder – your weekly timesheet is due. Submit it on the mobile app or at app.fieldbook.io. Reply STOP to opt out.

Fieldbook: Reminder – you haven't submitted your timesheet for this week. Please submit it on the mobile app or at app.fieldbook.io. Reply STOP to opt out.

For A2P / Twilio reviewers

The live opt-in UI is behind authentication at app.fieldbook.io. This page hosts screenshots of that Call-to-Action so consent can be verified without a login. Opt-in requires an unchecked-by-default checkbox and is not required to use the product.
